At Magnolia, we understand that the journey to growing your family can feel overwhelming. Fertility and infertility evaluation are deeply personal experiences, and having access to timely, compassionate imaging, including fertility ultrasounds and transvaginal ultrasounds, can make an important difference in your care.
Infertility is more common than many people realize. Approximately 1 in 6 couples experience infertility challenges, which can affect both women and men. Common causes include ovulation disorders, hormonal imbalances, endometriosis, uterine abnormalities, blocked fallopian tubes, age-related fertility decline, and male factor infertility. Many fertility conditions are treatable once properly evaluated through an infertility evaluation. Early assessment, including fertility ultrasounds and transvaginal ultrasound, can help providers identify concerns sooner and guide appropriate treatment options.
Ultrasound plays a vital role in fertility and reproductive health by providing safe, non-invasive imaging of the reproductive organs. Fertility ultrasounds are essential for infertility evaluation and may help assess: ovarian follicles and ovulation, uterine abnormalities, endometrial thickness, ovarian cysts, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), now known as Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS), fibroids or polyps, early pregnancy development, and response to fertility medications and treatments. Additionally, transvaginal ultrasound allows providers to monitor changes throughout the menstrual cycle and assist in fertility treatment planning.
You may want to speak with your provider about an infertility evaluation if:
You have been trying to conceive for 12 months without success.
You are over age 35 and have been trying for 6 months.
You experience irregular cycles.
You have a history of endometriosis, PCOS, miscarriages, or pelvic pain.
You have concerns about reproductive health. Additionally, discussing fertility ultrasounds and transvaginal ultrasound options may provide further insights into your fertility health.
We understand that navigating fertility care can be emotionally and financially challenging. Our aim is to make the imaging aspect of your care, including fertility ultrasounds and transvaginal ultrasounds, more accessible and supportive during your infertility evaluation.
We offer flexible appointment scheduling, including evening and some weekend availability, prompt reporting to your provider, and personalized attention in a welcoming environment.
We are here to help and answer any questions you may have regarding fertility ultrasounds and your infertility evaluation. All fertility imaging is performed using a transvaginal ultrasound, which allows for an in-depth examination to assist your provider in your care.
Initial fertility ultrasounds (with report to your provider) $220.00
Follicle monitoring (without report/elective imaging) $150.00, which can be part of an infertility evaluation that may include transvaginal ultrasound.
